Queremos ligar tecnologia e arte a leituras, filosofia e poesia.

Uma vez por mês reunimo-nos para ler em conjunto, de forma lenta, sem necessidade de preparação prévia.

O texto será disponibilizado no próprio workshop.

O nosso objetivo é ler fragmentos de texto e ligá-los a outros textos, ideias, ferramentas virtuais, jogos, etc.

Inspirados por isso, poderemos também criar, escrever e performar.

Queremos experimentar e estamos abertos a todas as pessoas que gostem de explorar.

Utilizamos um museu virtual para acompanhar as ligações e introduzir novos inputs.

Está acessível através de uma aplicação web e em VR.

A nossa inspiração filosófica vem de Donna Haraway e Ursula Le Guin,

fazendo-nos a pergunta: «poderia ser diferente?»

Sobre nós

Anna Gerhardus é promotora da investigação em inovação, género e mobilidade. Trabalhou no Grupo de Ciência, Tecnologia e Transformação Social do Institute for Advanced Studies em Viena, cofundou o FiZ Research Institute for Civil Society e tem promovido a iniciativa Community Creates Mobility, unindo os mundos da ciência, das startups, do setor público e da população civil.

Em 2023 chegou a Portugal seguindo o seu caminho interior e o coração para aprofundar os estudos de género, dançar e tornar-se mais humana. E mais cyborg. A ideia da Biblioteca Cyborg nasceu como um dos frutos dessa jornada.

Gosta de fazer pequenas coisinhas e entrelaçar a sua alma no bordado e no crochet, ligando fios, figuras e tecnologia. É também uma excelente leitora da aura de cães.

Daniel Moreno Medina é poeta, artista cognitivo e criador de significado. Atualmente explora investigação independente sobre arquitetura de metadados e normas geoespaciais. No passado, trabalhou, entre outros lugares, na Carbon Space, desenvolvendo soluções de software e análise comportamental.

Daniel aguarda que um gato entre na sua vida, pois acredita no sistema comunitário de distribuição de gatos. Gosta de dançar, inspirar e ser inspirado por humanos, tecnologia e natureza.

Tem apreço pelas coisas absurdas da vida e gosta literalmente de brincar com obras de arte.

The Cyborg Library

Come, read with us, play with us.

We want to connect technology and art with readings, philosophy and poetry.

Once a month we get together to read together slowly, no preparation required.

We will provide the text at the workshop.

Our goal is to read text fragments and connect them to different other texts, ideas, virtual tools, games etc.

Inspired by this we may also create, write and perform.

We want to experiment and are open to anyone who likes to explore.

We are using a virtual museum to track the connections and to enter new input.

It is accessible through Webapplikation and VR.

About us

Anna Gerhardus is an Advocate for Research on Innovation, Gender and Technology. She worked in the Science, Technology and Social Transformation Group at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, co-fo_unded FiZ Research Institute for Civil Society, and has been a promoter of the Community creates Mobility, uniting the worlds of science, startups, public sector, and civil population.

In 2023 she arrived in Portugal following her inner path and heart to delve deeper into gender studies, dance, and become more human. And more cyborg. The idea of the Cyborg Library was born in her as one of the fruits of this journey.

She loves to do small cute little things and interweave her soul into embroidery and crochet, connecting strings, figures, and technology. She is also an excellent dog aura reader.

Daniel Moreno Medina is a poet, cognitive artist and creator of meaning. Currently exploring independent research of metadata architecture and geospatial standards. In the past, Daniel was working amongst other places at Carbon Space developing software solutions and behavioural analysis.

Daniel is waiting for a cat to enter his life as he believes in the communal cat distribution system. He likes to dance, to inspire and to be inspired by humans, technology and nature.

He has a love for the silly things in life and loves to play around on artworks literally.
